
Anne Mette de Place Filippini

Anne Mette joined Burgundy in 2008 as Portfolio Manager to build Burgundy’s Emerging Markets equity mandate. Since then she has held the roles of Senior Vice President, Director of the Board, and Deputy Chief Investment Officer.
Anne Mette has over 25 years of experience. She began her career in strategy consulting in the U.K., where she held senior advising roles to large corporations in both Europe and North America on business and portfolio strategy. Anne Mette carried this experience with her when she entered the investment profession, acting as Portfolio Manager for global equity and balanced mandates prior to joining Burgundy.
Anne Mette is a graduate of Copenhagen University, holding a Master’s degree in Economics. Part of her Master’s degree was earned at the London School of Economics. She is an active member of her community, received University of Toronto’s Arbor Award for outstanding volunteer service, and is currently Chair of the National Ballet School Foundation Board.
